Prices

All prices on this website are listed in Australian currency. The total shopping cart cost reflects the product costs including GST.

If you are paying from a country outside of Australia, GST will be removed from your order during the checkout.

Orders

Customers are responsible for products incorrectly ordered. Cancellation charges will be incurred if orders are cancelled after fabric has been ordered.

The full cost of an order, including shipping costs as/if they change after the order is placed, must be paid before an order will be fulfilled.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges will be vary depending upon location. The shipping cost on your order may increase, decrease or be negated based on your order contents and shipping location. Changes to shipping cost may come into effect after you have placed your order. 

Collection Costs 
 

If the purchaser does not adhere to The Chairman's payment terms, the outstanding amount will be referred to a collection agent and the customer will incur collection costs of $330.00 + GST plus any legal fees incurred.

Promotional Discounts

Promotional discounts are only valid if payment is made according to The Chairman's payment terms as detailed on the Tax Invoice.

Design

Due to continuing commitments to excellence, The Chairman reserves the right to alter designs.

Draughtsman

Draughtsman options on task chairs are not recommended for high back chairs. Chairs that are AFRDI approved to AS/NZS 438:1977 with this option will not meet the stability requirements.

WARRANTY                        

The Chairman warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period designated for each product or otherwise agreed to in writing. This warranty is made to original users acquiring the product directly from The Chairman. The original user's sole remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement at The Chairman's option. Any warranty work will be performed by The Chairman or its designated agent. This warranty shall not apply to any products which need to be repaired or replaced due to damage caused by negligence, abuse, abuse, accident or shipping. It will also not apply when product has been modified or altered, repaired or refurbished other than by The Chairman or an authorized agent or because of natural variations in materials over which The Chairman has no control.

The warranty on does not cover the cost of transportation or labour except as agreed to with The Chairman.

The warranty on fabrics and foam is limited to that given by the manufacturer, agent or supplier.

This warranty is NOT applicable to end user customers who use The Chairman's products for rental purposes.

The chair warranty is based on an eight hour, single shift work day and for users weighing up to and no more than 100kgs.
